CSEPEL WM 98, 98 cm3, 1942

Introduced in 1939, the single speed CSEPEL WM 98 was a successful member of the Manfréd Weiss lightweight motorcycle program. Named the "Nickel (silver) tank" model, the cast-iron cylinder adopted a removable head and the piston the latest crown design. Later models featured a 2-speed gearbox and the Pauliny Company offered telescopic front fork suspension. As many others, however, all further development and production was discontinued with the Second World War.
