Following the Second World War and under very difficult circumstances, the Manfréd Weiss Csepel Works revised the inherited 100/L engine unit, with the adoption of a kick-start and foot change gearbox design. The pressed steel cycle frame design, which was proven to be weak, was replaced by a double tubular construction. The 3 horsepower, 43 kg lightweight was the last motorcycle to retain the factory owner's name, Manfréd Weiss. The 100 Tour model was assembled from domestic made components only, even most of the fittings were produced in the WM Works. In 1948, however, the factory was nationalised, and a completely new period started its life, although Csepel was always on top in motorcycle production.
