CSEPEL 100/48, 98 cm3, 1948

With the introduction of the CSEPEL 100/48, the design team of Aurél and Jenő Jurek introduced a long period of successful development. Many original technical solutions were adopted, not copies frmo foreign factories, and various details exceeded the previous CSEPEL Tour. A new cylinder, crank chamber, revised engine mounting, foot change 3-speed gearbox and generally improved outward appearance became characteristic features. With more than 3 horsepower output, a maximum speed of 75 km/h could be obtained. The reliable model was welcomed onto the domestic market, and was found successful within several home race results as well.
