The history of Hungarian
motorcycles

CSEPEL 125/50, 123 cm3, 1950

The higher speed of the Csepel 125 and poor road conditions in Hungary demanded urgent improvements to the suspension of this model. At first, as many motorcycles of this period, the parallelogram front forks were replaced by a telescopic design. For a further year, the model retained an unsprung rear wheel, until a plunger-type rear wheel suspension was adopted. In all other detail, the 125 cc retained the original design and layout.
