CSEPEL 125/D, 123 cm3, 1955

Production of the front-rear telescopic suspension one-eighth litre D-CSEPEL was more or leses the same as the model T, which remained within Csepel Work's production. From 1955, the model D was assembled at the Danuvia Tool & Appliance Factory, and the letter refers to this. The single cylinder, two stroke engine offered 4.5 horsepower, and was assembled with an 18 mm carburettor and flywheel magneto ignition. With a foot-change 3-speed gearbox, a maximum speed of some 80 km/h could be obtained. The Danuvia factory produced the D model for 2 years, and then introduced a further version of original design.
