The Csepel Motorcycle Factory and Big Bulk Goods Factory (previously a manufacturer of large press machines) went into partnership to develop and produce the TÜNDE scooter. The 2 stroke, 8 to 9 horsepower engine adopted a force fan cooler design. This was an unusual feature for a lightweight scooter. Transmission ran via a shaft drive mounted within a single rear swinging arm layout. Front wheel suspension adopted an Earles fork design. With a weight of only 115 kgs, the model offered a pleasant and comfortable maximum speed of 90 km/h. Unfortunately the technical construction required proved to be beyond the possibilities of the Csepel Motorcycle Factory at this time, and only 2,500 fo these machine swere assembled during a 2-year production period.
