The history of Hungarian
motorcycles

PANNONIA P10, 247 cm3, 1967

Perpared in 1966, in parallel production with the twin cylinder model P20, the P10 started a series of successful single cyinder motorcycles (T5 and followers) from the Csepel Motorcycle Factory. A 16 or 18 horsepower output engine could be achieved and, dependent on proportion of the compression space, a maximum speed of 115 km/h could be obtained. Any modifications, however, were generally limited to aesthetic considerations only (the fuel tank for example). Production was maintained until 1973 and more than 40 thousand of these machines were sold, mainly on the domestic market.
